Lancair has a fly-in every year (Sept time frame) and has an open date for 2017. Ron suggested we might be able to support the event out of the grand strand airport.
Hotel arrangement for discounts
notify taxi and rental car agencies to be prepared
work with the airport for access and prepare for fuel demand (many of the airplanes are turbine powered)
Name tags for the Chapter sign up sheet passed around, $8

The pilot's bill of rights... the house dropped the awful bill with user fees and other crap. The good version is being added to the FAA reauthorization bill.
Hanger use better defined to allow for building, restoring, or repairing an airplane IS aviation related activity.
Funding for 100LL replacement fuel and ATC for Air Venture without additional $500K bill.
Avionics upgrades for certified aircraft STC. Dynon attitude indicator working from to allow systems readily available for experimental aircraft to be used in certified aircraft without a TSO
